The district of Bordeaux
Bordeaux offers its visitors all the advantages of an important city with its museums, theaters, restaurants, nightlife and shopping. The city is a good starting point for visiting the district. For those interested in golf, there are several courses around the city and in the district. We will be glad to offer all wine and culture enthusiasts an interesting program. You will be able to choose between city or countryside life.

As a wine producer in Bordeaux, your house will automatically be called a castle (château), may it be large or small. The important point is actually where your house is located. If you are the fortunate owner of some grapevines in Médoc or Sauternes you will naturally get 10 or 100 times more for your wine than a producer in Entre deux Mers.

Apart from that, wine is a question of taste. Landscapes are prettier with mile long rows of grapevines, as you suddenly run into unique villages, such as St Emilion wich lies west of Bordeaux.
In St Emilion you will be able to visit the famous crypt and of course all the wine "negotiants" as they are called in french, who will let you discover their wine stock that usually lies in deep limestone caves under the village.
Many of the wine castles are not only famous for their wine, but also for their cultural and historical past. For example, Le Château de Malromé used to be the family house of the famous Parisian painter, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Nowadays it is a museum that is worth a visit.
